This is a very early Universal pressure cooker. It is marked PC2340 Made by Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn U.S.A. Pat. Applied for. It has an unusual oval lid. We have tried it and it does hold pressure. It appears that replacement gaskets are still available. The surface does have pitting and the lower handle has some damage that is apparently typical for these cookers and does not affect it usage. A great piece for your vintage kitchen.
