This is an FAA certified flight simulator, it can be used to log up to 10 hours towards instrument training. I purchased it from a flight school that was closing down, where it was their instrument trainer (rented by the hour with an instructor). If you don\'t care about this being FAA certified, and the fact you can use it with an instructor to teach or log hours, then this also works with Microsoft Flight Simulator (FSX) with the free drivers from the elite website.Everything works, and includes the FAA letter covering the simulator certification. This is an older version of the Elite software, but if someone wished to, they can buy an upgrade from Elite to the latest version of the software which runs on the latest versions of Windows.This comes with the complete Package to get started.
