VERY RARE vinyl LP box set (originally issued as a CD box set in 1993), containing 130 ‘essential’ studio masters recorded by Elvis Presley during the 1960’s….all digitally remastered.
The six records contain NO fingerprints, scratches, scuffs, rub marks, or other blemishes of any kind or description. The records look absolutely MINT…with the smooth, glossy sheen of a brand new record. But because I have not actually played them, I will grade them conservatively as Near Mint, if only because the box was not sealed when I obtained it.
Also keep in mind that with 9 to 11 stereo songs per side of each record, there’s going to be some sound compression compared to the CD box set. This LP version of the set was intended more as a rare collectible rather than something you would play over and over again.
Two of the six thin paper LP sleeves show the slightest sign of handling, with just a very small, barely noticeable crease or two (not even visible in the photos). Five of the six sleeves contain a small split (approximately 1 to 1.25 inches) at the center of the spine. Even with these minor flaws, all of the sleeves look gorgeous and brand new. Each LP is further protected by its original rice paper inner sleeve.
The box is in MINT condition, with NO dings, dents, split seams, or other damage of any kind.

(1) Album-sized book withrecording notes, essays on Elvis’ recording career in the 1960’s, and many, many photos.
(2) A colorful sheet of 36 stamps showing Elvis’ record covers from the 1960’s.
(3) An original, official first-day issue (with envelope) of the 29-cent postage stamp commemorating Elvis.
(4) Individually numbered certificate (no. 1705 of 10,000 copies worldwide)
(5) Promotional insert for “Elvis in Hollywood” VHS tape…and “The Complete 50’s Masters” box set.
