This is a vintage EMC 205 tube tester, fully working and in good condition. This tester was recapped, repaired, calibrated, cleaned and completely checked. All sockets, switches, lights and controls were tested. The meter works very smoothly and is exceptionally repeatable. As shown in the pictures, this tester does a good job of identifying weak, shorted and leaky tubes.The EMC 205 is an exceptionally well designed emission tester which was not kept current by EMC with more modern tube updates - especially rock \'n roll and audio tubes. To overcome this I developed test settings and include a \"woodyrox\" supplement chart to cover the most important newer tubes. Included are settings for:5AR4, GZ34, CV1377

5-wire, inline subminiatures.If your tube fits the EMC 205\'s socket, then the 205 has the ability to test it.
