300 Years of Classic English Craftsmanship-

Paul Cardew’s talents have been widely recognized by museums, art galleries and the British Tea Council for whom he designed a special range of teapots in the late 80’s. Cardew teapots are handcrafted using exactly the same skills and techniques deployed by Josiah Wedgwood all those centuries ago. Starting with the sculpting of fine details, then to three individual kiln firings, hand painting, and through to the final flourish of Paul Cardew’s signature on the base of each large teapot. Cardew\'s highly skilled workforce takes eight painstaking days to complete eachlargepot. Cardewlarge,small and miniatureteapots are designed to make real tea. Do not use with microwaves or dishwasher and only wash their exteriors gently with lukewarm water.Enjoy!
