THIS IS ONE OF A KIND TALL SILVERPLATE HOT WATER JUG, COFFEE OR CHOCOLATE POT, MAYBE WINE EWER, BUT HAS BLACK HANDLE AS AN INSULATION.THE SIZE: 11 1/4 INCH TALL, 5 1/2 INCH LONG WITH A HANDLE.THE MAKER: DANIEL & ARTER, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, BEFORE 1920.THE CONDITION: EXCELLENT FOR ITS AGE, ALMOST NO SILVER LOSS, ONE DIMPLE/CUT ON THE SIDE, SOME SCRATCHES, THE BOTTOM RIM HAS A DENT ON ONE SIDE AS SEEN ON THE PHOTOS. THERE ARE A FEW CUTS ON THE BOTTOM RIM, PLEASE, REFER TO THE PHOTO. THE BLACK HANDLE IS NOT EBONY, BUT ALSO NOT MADE FROM PLASTIC; IT IS MOVEABLE A LITTLE. THE HINGE WORKS PERFECT, GORGEOUS BEADED UPPER RIM AND FINIAL ON THE COVER IN CORNUCOPIA SHAPE. HALF BODY IS FLUTED, WONDERFUL GEORGIAN STYLE SERVER.
