The Zenith 601 HD has a perfect flying record. This plane was issued an N# and has over 200 hours of flight time. It originally flew with an 80 hp Subaru engine. I replaced it with a new Viking 110 hp engine with a 3 blade adjustable pitch prop for higher performance. I added two 13 gallon wing tanks which will give it over 8 hours of flight time. It needs two seats and finishing thePlexiglason the cockpit and some work on the top of thefuselage. All the flight surfaces and flight controls are complete. It has hydraulic brakes and electric trim on the elevator. The kit cost for this plane is over $17k and the Viking engine with all the firewall forward components cost about $20k.
