EXTREME Primitive RABBIT Handmade Early Rustic Decor Bunny Farmhouse - EAAM:
$49.50

Primitive Rabbit aka \"Brimfield Bunny\"
This primitive rabbit is made from VERY grunged osnaburg and is 13-1/2\"long and 11\" tall at her head. She is stuffed with rag stuffing (i.e., fabric scraps) except for her stubby little legs ... I tried but just couldn\'t get the rag stuffing in such a small area. The rag stuffing makes \"BB\" considerably heavier than a fiberfill stuffed rabbit; it also makes her a bit \"lumpy\" ... but I hope she looks older too!
I\'ve used mismatched vintage black buttons for her eyes, a scrap of white quilt for her nose, and her mouth & whiskers are brown thread. Her tail is sheep wool and is needle-felted into her rump. In person, it is a light ecru color but looks white in the photos (sorry about that). If you\'d like the wool grunged, just let me know and I\'ll do that after you purchase this item. She\'s wearing a simple brown homespun tie or collar.
Signed & dated by the artist (me!). Made from a Netty LaCroix pattern.
This extreme primitive rabbit was made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio.
I\'m happy to combine shipping whenever possible!I am part of a new selling group called Early American Artisans Mercantile. We are a small but growing group of artists who have a love of earlier times. Our wares resemble actual items from the 1800s.To find offerings from other members of this group, type EAAM in the search.
