A beautiful Federal Style mahogany dining room set by William Kimp Furniture, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The set includes a double pedestal table, 3 11\" leafs, and 8 chairs (six side and two arm). The table has a banded inlay top and is 60\" long (93\" with all leafs in place) by 44\" wide by 30\" tall. Pedestals have three feet with brass caps. The shield back chairs have carved swag detailing on back and inlaid detailing on the skirt of the chairs. Chairs dimensions are 38\" tall by 20\" wide (25\" wide for arm) by 19\" deep; seat height is 19\" and width is 18\" (20\" for arm). Arm height is 27.5\" and can fit nicely under table top. This set is in very good condition, the top has been professionally restored (leafs are slightly darker); chairs are structurally strong with minimal wear and the seats have been recently recovered in an ivory fabric.
