This needle is also called \"White Fiber Needles/the best fiber needles\" by famous E.M.Ginn. I tested the needleson 78rpm records. The result isbetter thanthe orginal Victor Fiber Needles, which tend to be very brittle due to their age and treatment on them, which could cause damage on the record groove. I put them in a container which has chemical driers after I make them. So they arepretty dry, very durable and flexible. These needles are for 78rpm records made of hard materials, not for vinyl. If the records are worn out, which shows grey color in the groove, these needles are not for them, because worn-out records are almost like sandpaper to wear out the needle point quickly. You need to have a good fiber needle cutter to sharpen the point of the needle in order to play 8 to 12 times or more. It is essential to have one cutter. This needle is not only for one use like a steel needle, but you can use one for many times.But they are as is. What you see is what you get.
