This is a great old boxwood flute that needs a new home! It belonged to my great grandfather and I really don't know more than that!The flute reads Firth Pond on all of the four sections and reads Franklin Square New York. I believe it was made between 1847 and 1865. It needs a liitle bit of tlc but still carries a tune. As seen in the pics, one of the ivory rings is cracked.Please ask any questions before offerding!

Even though one of the sections is cracked, it's easily repairable by a seasoned pro. It still plays and holds together well with the cracked section.
