Frazer Rototiller, B17conversion B16, B166r engine serial # 253327ta. I have owned this rototillersince the mid 80s. It was a field tiller that had been left in the weather andit’s engine cylinder was rusted and frozen. In the mid to late 80s we tore down this unit’s engine and ordered new piston cylinder housing, piston, rings crank shaft, bearings and seals.directly from Frazer The completely factory assembled crank/piston unit came ready to assemble with new gaskets seals etc. from Frazer Farm equipment. At the time Frazer Farm was still in business servicing, renewing, providing parts and machine work for a variety of part combinations including fully renewed machine exchanges..

I have owned several other B 16 and a B17since the early 70s and used them in my business for years and have a passionfor the simplicity, strength and durability of these machines along with easyof maintenance/repairs of the unit.

We cleaned the unit,inspected the reverse unit and found it’s case had been brazed repaired (stillintact) at some time .At that point we opted to remove the reverse unit andordered parts to restore the unit as a B16 only, installed new axle wheelseals, rear case seals, tiller shaft seals, magneto coupler, points, plug wire,stop button, air cleaner hose, rebuilt Tilloston Yc9a carburetor, pull rope,starter recoil spring, handle grips, paint ,decals etc. The unit has 6 new tineholder springs and 6 slightly used along with 6 new pointed tines and 6slightly used tines, new depth guide. It has the steel cleat wheels and therims for rubber tires will be included ( no tires or tubes). We would includethe reverse unit and original linkage/parts for an additional reasonable costif wanted.by the buyer. The tiller is sold as is, in condition as described.

Thereare some minor dents in the fuel tank, and paint scratches from prior and being stored in my shop since the partial restoration in the 80s. The enginehas only a few minutes run time for testing. (Still in break in requirement) Asper the manual, Frazer has recommended Aero shell oil for the engine break inperiod. I will copy my manual and one of my Frazer Farm equipment partscatalogs from one of the previous years and include with the unit. The unit hasbeen drained of gear oil, with only lubricating oil to the cases, and enginecylinder during storage. The unit has been stored indoors, in the corner of myshop, since the partial restoration.

Pick up would be onsite by the buyer, Shipping is not included and is the responsibility of thebuyer to arrange and pre pay all shipping costs, I would consider strap bandingthe unit to an oversized pallet, with the handles disassembled and tire rimsbanded/wrapped to the unit/pallet and delivering it to the nearest shippingcompany for an additional nominal fee. Please inquire prior to offerding, so weboth have no surprises. We do not have truck loading capability but can transport the unit to a shipper.
