If you opt for this service, the carrier will use a truckequipped with a liftgate to lower your freight to the ground. Some freight terminals are equipped to offer additional services -such as moving the freight into your shop or garage for you - on a limitedbasis for an additional charge. None of the carriers we work with will movefreight up or down stairs. I Work Full Time And There Is No One Home To Receive My FreightDelivery. What Are My Options?

Freight is delivered on weekdays during normal business hours. Manycustomers find it more convenient to arrange to pick up at the carrier\'sterminal or to have their orders shipped to their work address or to a friendwho can be home to accept delivery during the day. Since it is yourresponsibility to unload your freight from the truck and to inspect yourfreight to be sure you receive the right number of boxes in good condition,someone must be present at the time of delivery.
