This item belonged to a friend whose father was a historian and whose grandfather served on the German side in WW1. I am listing a collection of unique items that he used during that time. This wool beret is plain black on the outside and has a striped fabric interior. It has a tag in the middle that identifies it as \"Andorra Basque Beret\" There is a leather band around the interior that was sewn by machine and mended by hand. The number \"62\" is printed on it. Condition is good. As mentioned, it has a minor repair inside. There are no holes or stains. Please feel free to ask additional questions. I answer quickly.
