This offering is for a vintage Gibson J-40 acoustic project guitar. Restore or play as is!

The guitar has been setting in the case for quite some time.

The J-40 models have the double X bracing and are almost indestructible.

Guitar plays and tunes great and sure sounds good.

That said, this is a true survivor and is in nice condition.

Has a few pings and scratches and whiskey dents . Nothing serious.

There is a small roll on the top that is not cracked. Finish on the back is just starting to check a little and looks to be due to age.

Professional shop checked it and they said it is a solid guitar, straight and is in goood playing condition. That said - We are selling this Gibson as a project guitar due to imperfections!

Comes in hard case that is also in good contition condition.
