These cons are from all over the Midwest no specific location as i feel buckets till there full and I dredge all over the Midwest during the summer. I have well over 300 pounds of cons and can not go through them all by next year. As you can see below.

A little about Midwest gold. It is mostly fine gold and flakes but when you do get down to bedrock into the reddish dirt there are pickers and nuggets! I am selling these samples to allow people to see what my cons are like. I have provided cons to wounded vets boyscout and girl scout troops and everyone loves them so i decided to sell some on to let others enjoy the fun of gold panning. The fine gold will test your panning ability so please make sure to go through it at least twice. Ive been panning for years and still miss gold the first time around. Other things in these cons will be lead (sinkers, bird shot, bullets ect.) garnets and very fine garnet sands, black sands of course, other man made objects like nails for example. Now some might tell you there are diamonds in the Midwest and this is absolutely true but i have never seen a dredge the really works well at catching them and i have only found a few in cons in the last 20 years and they where small. I do however find diamonds test panning spots, but the chances of a dredge catching them is small.Here is what i got from one scoop of cons about one pound that i panned out fairly fast.
I am not salting these cons there is no need to. I know these cons are loaded with gold. Some scoops will be richer then others because i am just scooping them out and shipping them off. I can see gold in the cons in the buckets but I will add at least one flake to each bag to make sure no one gets skunked. I am doing this for two reason. One to protect myself as a seller and if for some reason these bags sell for a lot more then im asking i will add gold to make it fair for the buyer as well. Im offering free shipping through USPS 1st class mail so its should get to anywhere in the USA with in a week I would think.
