• JLS Tone Ring: The JLS Tone Ring is a replica of the Gibson tone ring used in the Granada models in the 30’s. The maker, from Texas, has analyzed an original tone ring and duplicated the exact specifications. When electronically tested for pitch, sustain, and ring, it equals the original. It also has a slightly longer “skirt” which (1) provides more contact with wood rim and (2) provides direct contact with the heel of the neck.
