For sale is a beautiful small Art Deco shelf clock from Van Cleef & Arpels of Switzerland.
This Clock appears to be a gilt brass or bronze in a green alabaster stone casing.
The reverse shows of this piece was made in Switzerland. The lettering is worn through age however you can make out the distinction of it\'s origin. We are not Clock experts and do not know the exact age of this piece. All we know is it came from an estate home out of upstate New York with a huge collection of vintage clocks watches and various timepieces from the early 1900s to modern times.
If this Clock originally had a glass cover over the minute and hour and it is not there now. Overall this clock is beautiful. It is well made with Swiss workings.We believe the case is a green alabaster. We are unsure but we know it is some type of stone but we\'ve seen these in green alabaster so we assume this is the same material.It measures 4 3/4\" tall x 3 1/4\" wide x 1 3/8\" deep.
