The frame features mitered half lap joints at the corners forstrength and stability.
Internal nickel-plated steel rods offer additional support to the soundboard under each bridge.
The16/15 configuration has 16 treble courses (32 notes) and15 bass courses (15 notes) with two strings for each note.
Thedimensions are 39” width along the long end rail, 14-1/2” width along the short endrail, 19-1/4”rail to railand 2-5/8” thick.
Total thickness including bridge height isabout 4”.
This Hammered Dulcimer was hand crafted from the finest and strongest materials available. The sound is strong and purewith good sustain andtuning stability.
Itwill most likely need to be re-tuned once it acclimates to your conditions.
