I have this really old Panasonic model SG - 674 portable AM/FM record player that runs on plug or batteries. I plugged it in and it appears to work however I don\'t have a needle for it .
the little rubber piece that goes underneath the record on top of the turntable needs to be flattened and glued back down. it got kinda old and warped I guess.
. it does make noise when I touch the needle meaning that chances are pretty good that it works. again it does not have a needle and I don\'t have one for it so I cannot really test that it even has one of those 45 adapters that come with the unit. I was not able to test the sound quality of the record player due to the fact that I don\'t have a needle for it so I don\'t know if it\'s playing fast or slow. the AM and FM comes in OK for where I live and have a little antenna that pulled out of the side. it is in pretty good shape no Kinks and it goes right back in where it belongs. I have not screwed up any batteries to test the battery I only tried it in AC mode. so basically what we have here is an old record player that works but may need a little bit of tinkering to get it up to your standards.
Due to a couple complaints and a less than satisfactory feedbaick that I received (O.K., only 1 complaint and one neutral response, but that\"s STILL too many!) I have to put this disclaimer in: I go out and acquire stuff to resell and make a few extra dollars on the side like most people on .l am kind of between Sanford and Son and American Pickers. Most of the things that I sell are USED.
Chances are pretty good that they MAY be in less than perfect condition.
I do not claim to be an expert at anything I sell. Sometimes I may miss something or may not know what all to look for. What might appear to be in good shape to me may look like crap to you. I live in the desert. We get plenty of dust out here which has a tendancy to land on stuff. Chances are pretty good that between the time I take the pictures and the time you recieve it IT MAY AQUIRE SOME DUST. I do not know the history of 99.9% of these things that I\'m selling beond a story that I sometimes hear from a previous owner which might be true.. I am NOT going to sit here and give you that typical \"they came from a non-smoking home\" story. First off because I smoke (please see username) secondly again I don\'t know the history of the stuff that I pick. for all I know, they could have come from Joe Camel\'s personal man-cave. SO, If you have any questions or would like a picture at a different angle please feel free to email me and ask questions BEFORE offerding. I will do my best to try to get you the answer you\'re looking for as accurately and honestly as I know how. with all that said it goes without saying that all of my stuff is sold AS-IS. So like everything else sold on the secondary market by mail order I urge you to ask questions and offer accordingly.that goes for my stuff as well as anybody else\'s ANYWHERE.
