A history of York, Maine, from the time it was settled by Europeans (originally called Agamenticus) until the time of publication. A previous owner has tipped in an IOU signed by Moody, and dated June 4th, 1915.
Very good minus condition overall. Light wear to exterior, including some rubbing to head and heel of spine, and some darkening to the spine. The front cover has a slight bump to the fore-edge. Previous owner\'s bookplate (Ralph Sylvester Bartlett) to the front free endpaper. Pages 27, 29, and 31 each have small closed tears to the fore-edge. Someone has laid in an old postcard (showing the Old York Jail), which has resulted in some toning to the pages. Otherwise, the interior appears clean.
