This is an incredibly detailed handcrafted squirrel stuffed animal, approximately 8\" high, made by Paula Strobel, of Strobel Art Manufacturing Company, in Washington. Her pieces are works of art, incorporating recycled vintage fabrics/fur, mohair, wool felt, horse hair, and vintage ribbons. Hand sewn and painted, with lifelike glass eyes. They are just amazing. This piece is from the mid-nineties. It has horse hair whiskers and a bushy recycled fur (coat) tail. It has been carefully stored away in a non-smoking home. Please examine all photos carefully.
