Famous for their amateur radio kits in the 50\'s through the early 80\'s, amateurs flocked to their stores and catalog to buy amateur radio kits.This is one of the popular learn by doing kits that came in two parts, EK-2a and EK-2b - this is only the first EK-2A unbuilt kit. In fact, the model sticker to put on it after you build itis still in the kit. Also includes the Radio Part 1, EK-2A Educational Series book (printed December 1960) and the Kit Builders Guide booklet (copyright 1965). Comes with the original box as shipped from Heathkit - I believe it came inside another box. Only one part looks like it was started.I have no idea if the kit is complete or if the parts are still functional (just found at the back of the warehouse as I said).
