The Tropical Hibiscus Hawaiian Sunset is an old cultivar that is seldom seen in chain garden center outlets. It is a naturally ocurring mutation (called a \'sport\') from Florida Sunset (a/k/a Lagas). Although this cultivar is a favorite of collectors, it is rarely seen in chain garden centers.

The flowers of the Hawaiian Sunset Tropical Hibiscus are medium sized singlesthat are a coral shade of orange that fades to pink on the edge. It is a showy, cyclical, prolific bloomer, and is a vigorous, sturdy plant with a rigid, upright growth habit.

Tropical Hibiscus (hibiscus rosa seninsis) are attractive in mass plantings of a single color, mixed colors or as a specimen accent plant. They repeat bloom throughout the year, and are easy to care for.
