Used Icom IC-R70 HF communications receiver for amateur radio use in basically working condition. Operates on 117 VAC and covers to 30 MHz (ham bands and general coverage). Works well but receives WWV at 5.00 MHz with 4.00 MHz indicated on the display. Did get a comment that this was possibly normal operation while in the general coverage mode but have not been able to confirm. An online copy of the manual did mention a similar situation with 14.0 being displayed when tuned to 15.0 MHz in general coverage so possibly it is normal. Other bands seem OK but there may be other similar problems on the edges of various bands. My tech advised that a further investment in troubleshooting was not warranted. There are 3ea Icom filters installed: FL-30 SSB, FL-32 CW, and FL-33 AM. sale is for the pictured item only with an AC power cord which is sold AS IS and cannot be returned for any reason. Various missing screws for the covers will be replaced before shipping as much as possible. Please check out the photos to determine if of any possible use.
