Up for offer is a great old original antique Ithaca Calendar Clock Company \"Red Corner\" grandfather clock dial, for an Ithaca Spring Driven grandfather clock only. (It will not fit the Ithaca Weight driven grandfather clock.)It is extremely difficult to find an original ITHACA \"Red Corner\" spring driven grandfather dial as nice as this one - that is not torn or ripped because they were made around 100 years ago. Why spend $200.00 or more to have your old Ithaca GF dial professionally restored or professionally reproduced when you can have a nice old original one for just a little bit more. As many collectors know, Ithaca only made calendar movements and cases - they used five different clock manufacturers who they purchased their time movements from for both their calendar clocks and grandfather clocks. Ithaca used Welch for their early (1898, 1899 & 1900) grandfather clocks. They used Gilbert for their spring driven grandfather clocks made after 1900 and New Haven for all their weight driven grandfather clocks. I lived in Ithaca, New York from 1970 until 2002 and collected both Ithaca Calendar clocks and Ithaca Grandfather clocks for over 32 years. Many of my grandfather clocks and one of my calendar clocks are shown in Tran Duy Ly’s reference books of clocks. I retired a few years ago and have now reached a point in my life where I am thinning out most of my private collection of great old original Ithaca Calendar and Grandfather parts and clocks.I have owned this nice old original ITHACA \"Red Corner\" grandfather clock dial for many years. I saved it thinking that I might come across an Ithaca Grandfather Clock someday that was missing the dial.
