I have not had time to spin in a long time so it\'s time to let this go. All of the wood components are solid oak and the handle makes it easy to carry. The foot pedal and cord tuck between the flyer and lazy kate for easy transport. The foot pedal controls on/off and the switch under the motor reverses the direction to spin or ply. It is a double drive and ratios are changed by lifting the wood pin, sliding the motor and it\'s base forward or backward to align the ratio with the bobbin and whorl grooves. To adjust the tension, just loosen the wingnut on the flyer assembly and slide towards or away from the motor.
These are large bobbins and there are 6, yes 6! included. I\'m also including an orifice hook so you\'ll be all set to spin when this arrives!
