I purchased new and they have not been moved. They are in excellent condition sonically and visually. I would say they are mint- the - only because they have been used, no scratches or damage to any of the drivers. They are a4 driver 3 way speaker.two eight inch woofers, one five inch midrange,and one inch titantium tweeter. the speaker weighs in @ 55-lbs each,34 inches in height.it has two 3 inch ports in the rear of each speaker., components have aluminum baskets for best heat distribution. They include the rarely found optional magnetized tweeter covers shown in the last photo.They soundawsome and were a limited edition. Would love to hand these over to a JBL collector, I am sure they would be happy to own them.Thanks for looking.

These are very nice 3-way JBL speakers that weigh 55 pounds each, 34 inches in height and has two 3 inch ports in the rear of each speaker. And was offered the option of including special magnetized tweeter covers only availible for this model.

The (JBL HP 88 F) were manufactured in 1996 there was a limited amount produced for the U.S. of only 1700 to selected higher end home audio stores. Each pair came with it's own serial numbers.
