Jensen F12N 12" Field Coil Speaker 1950 Hammond Organ Pull:
$49.95

Good Day, I have up for sale a nice 12" Jensen F12N field coil speaker. It was pulled from a Hammond organ. The E.I.A. code is 220009 which I believe make this a 1950 model speaker. It is in very good condition with a ribbed cone that is in very good condition for a 64 year old speaker. No holes or tears that I could detect. It is a 8 Ohm speaker with a 1000 Ohm coil. On a digital meter I read 7.4 and 970 for the field coil. The paint is still in great shape with only a light coat of dust.

Because of the nature of the item(s)which is "vintage used" there is no warranty applied or intended.

NOTE / DISCLAIMER: This just seemsnecessary to disclose. I collect speakers period. When I collect tomany or several duplicates I sell them. I focus on vintage models(1980 and before). My knowledge of speakers is limited but I learn moreand more all the time. I am not a technician of any kind. I am not aspeaker expert of any kind. I am not a business. The ONLY electronictesting equipment I have is a digital multimeter. That is the onlyway I check speakers. To my knowledge the multimeter tells me theOHMS of the speaker and it tells me if the voice coil is stillintact. It is that simple. I check for voice coil rub by hand bypushing the cone down then releasing it. If I hear or feel any kindof grinding I call it a rub and I will post it that way. No tonegenerators are used.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Unless thespeaker is marked on it what the OHMS are supposed to be I can only“Assume” what it was intended to be by what my meter reads. Unlessthe speaker has its power handling capability marked on it I can only“GUESS” at what wattage it will handle. To me the vote is stillout there on the type of wattage i.e. RMS, Peak, Programmed etc. Tome the larger the magnet to more wattage it should handle.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: When I packagespeakers to ship, I try my best to prepare them for a journey of dropsand kicks. Shipping is expensive and most people will not pay theextra money for “Priority Service”. So I ship 99% of my speakersParcel Select a.k.a. Economy. I NEVER EVER write on the box “Fragile”or “Handle With Care” because when you ship economy that says tosome postal works go ahead and abuse the box. Sad but true. I try when practical todouble box the speakers with cushioning materials between the boxes.I buy “most” but not all of my shipping boxes so I get a good fit for thespeakers and I buy “most” of my cushioning materials and I DO NOTpass that cost on to the buyer. I just want a happy end user / buyer. My Feed Back speaks for itself. YES I do sometime use packingpeanuts. But they never come in contact with the speakers.

Thank you all very kindly
