John Deere 317 with 18HP Briggs Vanguard engine. Runs great and has about 3 years residential use (less than 100 hours) on the engine. Nice sold hydraulic lift 4 wheel deck with no Rust-rot in it. It has new blades and belts this past season. New front tires about 3-4 years ago and new battery this year. Posi traction rear end with Left and Right independent rear brakes and heavy rear wheel weights. I have had this tractor for about 12 years and basically did a Frame-Off restoration on it about 10 years ago. I replaced the original Kohler engine with the Commercial Grade $1600 Briggs engine about 3 years ago when the original finally gave up the ghost. This is a very heavy duty tractor made to last for years and years. The only reason I am selling this tractor is that I got a deal I couldn\'t pass up on a new commercial mower and don\'t have room for both of the tractors in my garage. $1500 or best reasonable offer.
