Wallbox Cookie Jar - \"Classic American Juke Box\"
From the Classic American Diner series by OGGI. Item #6088.
Ceramic. Made in China.Dated: the Roman numerals on the box and the bottom of the cookie jar say 1914, but I know they meant 1994. The piece is new-old-stock from the mid-1990s.
Size: 9\" tall x 7.5\" wide x 6.5\" deep
Condition: Ceramic. Never used, never displayed, no chips, no defects, no crazing. This piece is meant to look handpainted, and may show some brush strokes or minor color variations. These are intentional and part of the beauty of the piece. Itemcomes in original decorated box, with minor wear from being in aretail store warehouse - still in great shape for gift-giving!This amazing wallbox cookie jar is styled after the class Seeburg 3W-1 wall selector that you remember from your favorite diner or hometown restaurant, and also bears a resemblance to the Wurlitzer and AMI selectors from that time period. It was always stocked with your favorite tunes and added to the nostalgic atmosphere of the diner. The body of the wall box is light blue, with a white base and gray front. The buttons along the bottom of the piece are red with big white letters - 1-10 on the top row, A-J on the bottom. Eight title strips are visible in the center piece, with A1-A4 on the left and B1-B4 on the right. They feature titles like \"Golden Oldies\", \"Fifties Favorites\", \"Rock N Roll\", and \"Big Band Sound\".
