This is a very nice Kenwood TS-830S HF Hybrid transceiver in fully functional and very good cosmetic condition. It covers all of the HF amateur bands from 160 to 10 meters including the WARC bands. It is all solid state with the exception of the transmit driver, (12BY7), and final stages, (6146B x 2). Cosmetically, I\'d rate this one a8of 10 - the cabinet hassome light surface rust on top, but is otherwise in very good condition. The front panel and controls are inexcellentcondition. This onedoes not have the optional CW filters installed. All functions and controls appear to work as they should. The radio receivesand transmits very well - very sensitive receiver.It puts out a solid 100 watts on all bands from160 metersthrough 10 meters, including the WARC bands.(photos show 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and the top of 10 meters - readings were taken in \"CW\" position). I\'ve used this rig on 80, 40, and 20 meter sideband with no issues and excellent signal reports. I added a pigtail on the aux plug for keying an amplifier.
