The saw is in good condition. I did trim the lever bolt alittle to get more tension on the blade. Here is some information about the saw:

Thesolid steel indexing blade-hooks lock in eight 45° positions for afull 360° rotation. The hooks are spring loaded to preventinadvertent rotation. Each hook assembly must be squeezed together toindex. When released, the internal spring locks them in positionagain.
