Description NICE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD.
MADE BY AMES OF CHICCOPPEE, MASSACHUSETTS.
SWORD IS C. LATE 1860\'S - 80\'S.
CONDITION IS GREAT.
THE SWORD BELONGED TO LT. WILLIAM
WATERS OF THE 15TH MASS INFANTRY, COMPANY B.
SERVED IN THE CIVIL WAR BETWEEN 1861-64.
SCABBARD IS ENGRAVED WITH HIS NAME.
SKIPPING OVER TO THE SWORD AND SCABBARD.
BLADE AND SCABBARD ARE BOTH MARKED AMES.
SWORD SET IN SCABBARD MEASURES 36 INCHES.
ALL FITTINGS ARE GOOD AND TIGHT.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ITEM IS POSITIVE.
GOLD WAS IS IN FINE CONDITION.
BLADE IS NICELY ENGRAVED.
HAS ORIGINAL CLOTH COVERING.
ITEM HAS BEEN WELL STORED AND NOT ABUSED.
