This is U.S. Korean War Era U.S. Air Force Flight Suit is in excellant
condition for its age. It is a wool/rayon pair of flying coveralls, Type CWU-1P. It is
of a greenish-aqua color. It has zipper pockets on the thigh and leg calf,
left shoulder, and snap button type pockets on the chest area. The label on
the inside neck area says, ( Coverall, Flying Mens, Type CWU-1P, Mil-C-25786
(USAF), Size Medium-Regular, Project Order No. 5519, Stock No.
8415-576-3406, M.C.S.A. Mfg. Division, MC & TSA, Dry Clean Only, Content:
wool 30%, rayon 70%, Lining Material Only). The collar has a zipper on the
backside that holds a foldable hood. The collar also has a tie string. All
zippers are brass and marked, (Commar). All zippers and snaps work properly.
The suit is in excellent condition with no tears or holes.
