Kroger Go-Cart Go-Kart ... Apparently a limited production advertising item, this fiberglass Kroger vintage delivery vehicle was made to mount on a gocart chassis. I have the body only, in really good shape.
Minor chipping around the mounting holes along the bottom edge, a small crack at the back edge of the \"sunroof\" and a small chip at the front of the windshield frame. Small chip at the bottom rear edge. Paint (or gel-coat) is faded and chalky in appearance, giving it that Patina everyone wants nowadays. I believe that a good washing will remove the chalky appearance, and a wax will bring back the shine, but I like it the way it is. It hasn\'t been washed in years.
Decals are checked and faded, also testament to its age, but there\'s enough there to reproduce or hand-paint if restoration is your goal. Coca-Cola license plate appears to be original to this delivery truck.
My plans , when I got it, were to rip the steel body off my late-model Craftsman riding mower and make a play-toy for the grandkids, but have decided against that. This delivery should fit many Go-Cart chassis or wagon or mower frames. Wheelbase would be between 42 & 46 inches due to open front fender design. Once it\'s yours, do with it what you will.
It needs to go to a good home. Should ride comfortably in the bed of a long-bed pickup truck. Approx 6 ft. long.
