CAP GUN

This is a nice vintage cap gun made to look like a bone-handled six-shooter. It is a side-loader, made by Kusan Inc. of Nashville Tn. and has the number, #272 on it also. It is trigger operated and also has a hammer. The \'bone-handled\' handle is plastic of course and the body of the pistol is chromed. Most of the chrome looks to be in good condition, but there are some chips in it and some scratches. The barrel of the pistol shows some scratches and the coating is missing around the tip of the barrel. The cover to the cap compartment will no longer \'lock\' shut, it looks like a small part has broken off. No problem unless you turn the gun upside down!

The company was originally \'Nichols\' and sold out to Kusan in 1965. Kusan cap guns were in business from 1965 until cap guns were no longer so much in demand.

This has the orange insert showing it is a non-functioning toy.
