THIS DOLL IS A “TOM SAWYER" Boy Porcelain Doll 27” FROM THE MOLD DESIGNED BY © Donna Rupert Doll Art Works (inscribed under the wig)...]He is a PORCELAIN DOLL with porcelain head, shoulder plates, ams and legs with a soft bodymeasuring approximately 27-28 inches........!! Big boy..see large pics below.Tom has Blond Hair and MESMERIZING BROWN /PURPLE GLASS EYES? (cold and hard..feels sounds like glass when tapped)...HE is ADORABLE!!Hand Painted Art Work, mold pour and design was done by doll artist Theresa Bue..signed on the neck along with the date1997...TOM is beautifully crafted, painted and dressed in a Teal Green cotton shirt and Blue Jean overalls and a printed sleeved shirt with Leather work boots…ready for adventures!! He wants to go catch lightning bugs with you...! Great personality and expressive face...Life Like in Looks and Size..he is inPre-owned Excellent Condition but looks great!!! Made In USA
I am not the original owner but a friend of the family…Please ask questions as I am NOT an “expert” in this field of modern doll collecting. The Dolls were cared for like her children that she lovingly redressed for occasions and seasons…many have been displayed and redressed by her and the original clothing was carefully stored in a huge box!!…I have tried to bring the dolls back to as original condition as possible just by researching the dolls on the internet, seeing them and identifying pieces and accessories…it has been a very overwhelming project as you can imagine with over 100 dolls! I have taken large detailed photos of each doll and described them to the best of my knowledge and research. So if you know a doll has a certain item missing or any questions about a doll not included in description or photo..please ask. These are sold for the Estate so they are “As Is”…I will ONLY refund if I may have accidentlly falsely described some detail or the doll arrives damaged. I have been an seller since began and 5 star response rating…I will pack all dolls in their original shipping carton or an appropriate box and packing material with all the gentle care and protection the original owner gave them..
