Lathe tool post w/ tool holder & locking arm only used 3 times South Bend maybe:
$97.44

This tool bit holder has only been used a handful of times, literally. It\'s never been crashed into or abused and is virtually like new in every way. Soon after getting my new lathe, this tool holder was replaced with a hydraulic tracer unit. The tool post has just been sitting in a box on a shelf, and it\'s time for it to be used by someone who needs it. I guarantee this unit to operate like new in every way or your money back (with you paying the return postage). the holder is 3\" X 3\" X 2-1/2\" tall. It will accommodate a 1\" tall tool bit X 3/4\" wide cutting tool bit, down to a 3/8\" X 3/8\" tool bit, and typically caroffere insert holders or large high-speed cutting tools. The T-nut is also 3\" long and will fit a T-slot 2\" wide at the bottom, 1-1/4\" at the top, and steps down from the top .225, with a .309 bottom flange on the widest part of the bottom of the T. Tool post diameter is .625 with top threads for screw-down locking handle. the 8 square-headed screws can be turned with a 7/16 socket or with the T-wrench that came with it as part of the set-up (it is included in this sale). What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. If the T-slot in your compound has smaller dimensions, the T-nuts dimensions can easily be milled down to fit your machine. If your T-slot is bigger, you can easily screw off this T-nut and replace it with another. I am a professional journeyman machinist with 40 years experience; this is a very rugged and rigid unit for lathes with a 11\" swing up to 24\" swing. The base of the holder that contacts your compound has precision milled slots for indexing the holder when rotating back & forth with multiple tools being held at one time for mass production purposes, but you must install indexing pins into your compound to take advantage of this. All questions welcome.
