HERE WE HAVEA PREWAR LIONEL 261E STEAM AND 262T TENDER WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX FOR THE STEAM ENGINE ONLY. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND IT DOES RUN.IT HAS NOT BEEN RUN IN A WHILE AND IT TOOK IT ABIT TO GET GOING AGAIN. ONCE THIS WARMED UP IT STARTEDRUNNING MUCH BETTER. THISDOES RUN IN FORWARD AND REVERSE AND THE E-UNIT DID WORK. IT DOES SOUND A LITTLE ROUGH WHEN RUNNING. THIS WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED AND SERVICED TO GET THIS BACK TO GOOD RUNNING CONDITION.THIS STEAM ENGINE IS IN GREAT LOOKING CONDITION. IT ISSUPER CLEAN AND VERY SHARP LOOKING.THIS WAS A WELLTAKENCARE OF STEAM ENGINE.I HOPEI LOOKAS GOOD AS THIS STEAM ENGINE DOES WHEN IABOUT 80 YEARS OLD.IT IS MISSING ONE WHITE FLAG FROM THE FRONT PILOT.PLEASE SEE ALL THE PICS OF THIS BELOW. THERE REALLY IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS FROMWHAT I CAN SEE. THIS JUSTHAS SOME WEAR ISSUES FROM AGE AND BEINGPACKED AWAY FOR AVERYLONG TIME. THIS COMES WITH THE 262T TENDER. THE TENDER IS IN NICE CONDITION. IT IS MISSING SOME OF THE AXLE JOURNAL COVERS.THE HEADLIGHT DIDWORK WHEN THIS WAS TESTED. PLEASE SEE ALL THE PICS OF THIS STEAM ENGINE AND TENDER BELOW. THE BOX FOR THE STEAM ENGINE IS IN GOOD OERALL SHAPE. ONE END HAS NO FLAPS AND OTHER END HAS ALL 3 FLAPS TO IT. THE INSERT IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND DOES COME OUT OF THE BOX.
