Here we have a LL Bean Orion III Large Arbor fly reel with 2 extra spools. The Orion III LA is a 7/8 line weight class reel, machinedfrom bar-stock aircraft aluminum, with a center discdrag system. It is deeply anodized with a gloss blackfinish. Bearings and drag components are shielded. Reel diameter is 3 7/8 in., with a weight of 8.5 oz. The spoolssecure with screw caps for easy line changes. It readilyreverses between left and right hand retrieve directions.

The reelandspare spools are inperfect shape. It looks like the only use it has had was to load the reel with backing and a Scientific Anglers Mastery Saltwater Taper WF-7-F line. It is set for left hand retrieve (reversing the drag directionis simply accomplished bymakinga quarter turnof the screw atop the drag/drive module). With the reel comes 2 padded velcro-closing reel/spool pouches and a zippered fleece-lined, canvas and leather pouch.All are in good shape.
