Up for offerding is a nice Johnson Viking II transmitter (serial #6016)with the matching 122 VFO package. These are daily users from a non-smoking environment. The transmitter has good output close to 100 watts keyed-down into my Heath Cantenna dummy load. Several electrolytic capacitors (C54, C10, C11)have been replaced in the unit. It has a solid-state low voltage rectifier circuit. The original AC line cord has been replaced with a modern three-conductor grounded type. It has all its cabinet screws.The 122 VFO is very stable after a brief warm-up. It is missing four front panel screws. Included with the package are many spare tubes ( eight 6AU6, two 5V4GA,one 5R4WGY, one 5R4GYB, one 0A2, one 6146, two 5V4, two 6AQ5A, four 6AL5), a 122 VFO manual, a Viking II manual on CD. All tubes in the transmitter will be taken out and packed separate from the transmitter. I will ship in two packages. Be advised the unit is very heavy at 75 lbs.
