The YELLOWSTONE CAMP BROCHURE from 1928, THE LOT OF 23 B&W PHOTOS from the 1950s, THE HAYNES GUIDE from 1949, two YELLOWSTONE visitor map-sized fold-out brochures - one from 1957 and one from 1948, and a bound \"YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - WYOMING\" perfect-bound, 84-page, booklet from 1928. If you would like specifics on these items please contact me. I had written longer descriptions of eachbut they just wont appear in my listing (I see them in the listing but when I \"save\" the listing, they are gone) . Beyond that, here are details on the other items in this lot:ASTONISHING YELLOWSTONE - dated 1937 -- Produced by NORTHERN PACIFIC - Yellowstone Park Line and Burlington Route. the brochure is saddle stitched with 64 pages plus covers (see photo). The brochure is loaded with quality B&W photos of all of the parks features, wildlife, scenics and more. The brochure lists railway tour info. The folder measures 8 by 9 inches and folds vertically to road-map-sized 7 by 10 inches. The paper is a polished, smooth stock that is pliable, there\'s barely any age discoloration with moderate edge, corner or surface wear -- mainly on the outside covers -- front cover has a tear and corner wear -- overall condition is Good+ to VG.YELLOWSTONE and GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARKS - appears to be from 1934 (key code says \"25M - 5 - 34\") by UNION PACIFIC System -- 48-page (plus cover) saddle-stitched booklet loaded with photos and describing various attractions and offering specific travel packages. 7 by 10 inches, heavier cover stock, front cover is embossed and has some gild-gold accent color. It\'s in fantastic shape. Condition is easily Near-EXC.THE CODY ROAD To YELLOWSTONE PARK - appears to be from 1928 (key code says \"25M - 5 - 34\")(key code says \"25M - 5 - 34\")(Key Code says \"5-8-28\") by Burlington Route Tours. Excellent saddle-stitched brochure that folds out to 8 by 9 inches and folds once vertically to road-map size --Wonderful photos showing various scenic landmarks along the route from Cody to Yellowstone. Brochure has minimal wear and is very clean/ Printed on a bright white stock in 2-color brown and orange. Overall it\'s in VG to VG+ condition.YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK (2 duplicate folder/brochures) featuring Thomas Moran \"Castle Geyser Eruption\" on the front -- (c) 1968 - produced by Yellowstone National Park Company. This is a one-sheet, multi-fold brochure that folds up to a road-map-sized brochure that touts the joys of visiting YNP and describes packages and rates. The back of each brochure is stamped with the name of a travel agency in Texas. Printed in full color on a bright white stock with excellent photo reproduction. Both are super clean with fine detail and crisp printing. Very mild edge and corner and spine wear to cover with bright, rich color. Condition is NearEXC.YELLOWSTONE (2 duplicate folder/brochures) featuring a photo of Yellowstone Falls on the front (photo wraps to create the back cover) (c) 1965 by United States Department of Interior / National Park Service. Brochure is saddle stitched and trims at 8 by 9-1/2 and is folded to create a road-map-sized folder with multiple panels. Brochure is B&W throughout with a map in 3 colors on the center spread -- 32 pages, self-cover. One brochure is in VG++ condition, one has some separation at the staples and some usage wear, still Good+ -- both are Good+ to VG++ condition.MANUAL for RAILROAD VISITORS - Time-Tables YELLOWSTONE PARK TOURS - 1928 by Yellowstone National Park / Department of the Interior -- Brochure is all B&W -- 32 pages, saddle-stitched and 8 by 9 inches and folds vertically to create a road-map-sized brochure. Used but not abused, some edge and corner wear. Moderate surface wear, inside pages are clean. Overall Good+.SET of 12 HAYNES COLORIZED PHOTOS of YELLOWSTONE ATTRACTIONS - Undated but early, photos by J. E. Haynes, Each measures 10 by 13 inches. I\'ve seen this set bound into an album, these are loose and may have originally been in a souvenir \"folder\" of some sort. They appear to be naturally trimmed, not cut out of an album. They have some corner and edge wear but the images are perfect and would look wonderful framed and hanging on a wall. Overall they\'re in Good++ to VG condition.YELLOWSTONE - The WONDERLAND DOMAIN of BEARS - As Photographed by Haynes - (c) 1931 by HAYNES PICTURE SHOPS, Inc. - a 32-page, sepia-tones booklet featuring the scenes and animals in the park with a central theme of bears. Each page is one large photo with a secondary inset (usually of a bear) and bit of descriptive copy. The booklet measures approx. 9 x 12 inches horizontally and is saddle-stitched and printed on an off-white, matte-finish stock. The cover has mild usage wear to corners and edges, the inside is very clean. Overall condition is Good+ to VG.TWO HAYNES POST CARD FOLDER -- YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK Souvenir Folders - Undated but typical of 1940s vintage post card folders. Photos are two different sets of accordian-fold color pictures. Folders are self-mailers and never used. Haynes address on these is Bozeman, Montana. Minimal usage wear and clean bright color on linen-textured stock. Back cover is a self-mailer (unused). Overall condition is Very Good to VG++.GUIDE TO CANYON AREA -- undated but there\'s a key codee that says \"2-80\" so likely from 1980 although the large map on the inside appears to be from 1967 - by DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR / National Park Service-- One sheet with multiple folds measures 12-1/2 by 18-1/2 inches and folds up to 3-3/4 by 6-1/4. Cover is 2-color black and gold, inside is B&W with details on various trails and attractions with a large map. Item is quite clean with minimal usage wear and in VG+ condition. HAYNES GUIDE -- Yellowstone National Park - (c) 1949 by HAYNES STUDIO INC., Bozeman, Montana. Polished white stock throughout, heavier cover stock with graphic of Old Faithful on front. 192 pages with a fold-out map of the park bound into the inside-back cover. LOADED with photos, maps, info. 5 by 7-1/2 inches and perfect-bound. Super clean and in great shape. Overall condition is VG++ to NearEXC.YELLOWSTONE PARK CAMPS - (c) 1923 by YELLOWSTONE PARK CAMPS Co.A wonderful brochure that\'s saddle-stitched and trims at 8 by 9 inches and then folds to create 32 road-map-sized panels that are each 4 by 9. Loaded with photos and details on various camp options and programs in Yellowstone. Center spread provides railroad and tour information. Shows some usage and age wear with a running, discoloration stain (faint) at the bottom-center of each page across the fold. Still a really cool, obscure YNP brochure. Overall Good to Good+ condition.YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK SEASON - (c) 1948 by NATIONAL PARK SERVICE -- This is one sheet with multiple folds. Fully opened the brochure measures approximately 23 by 19 inches. Folded it\'s road-ma-sized -- approximately 4 by 9-1/2 inches. One side has a large map of the park that takes up the majority of that side while the flip side gives details on attractions along with several B&W photos. This item was very lightly used and is in VG+ to VG++ condition.Envelope full of 23 COMMERCIAL B&W PHOTOS OF YNP - undated but based on content and style these range from the 1930s to the 1950s -- Some (the smaller ones) are by Asahel Curtisfor N. P. Rlwy Co. and some (large ones) are by Hanes plus there\'s one medium-sized photo by C. E. Wilcox of Gardiner, Montana. All are good clean, crisp images with minimal usage/storage wear. Overall VG to VG+YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK -- (c) 1957 -- Visitor brochure by NATIONAL PARK SERVICE -- printed in sepia-toned/dark brown throughout with sepia photo of Mammoth Hot Springs on front. 8 by 9-1/4 inches saddle-stitched then folded vertically to create a road-map-sized brochure. Back cover is a full-sized, detailed map of the park. Inside is photos and descriptions of attractions and park info. Overall condition is NearEXC.YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK SEASON - (c) 1948 by NATIONAL PARK SERVICE -- This is one sheet with multiple folds. Fully opened the brochure measures approximately 23 by 19 inches. Folded it\'s road-ma-sized -- approximately 4 by 9-1/2 inches. One side has a large map of the park that takes up the majority of that side while the flip side gives details on attractions along with several B&W photos. This item was very lightly used and is in VG+ to VG++ condition.YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - Wyoming - (c) 1928 by NATIONAL PARK SERVICE - Park Visitor catalog for the 1928 season, perfect bound, 84 pages plus covers (back cover is large B&W photo of Old Faithful). Center spread has multi-color fold out map. Loaded with park info. Cover shows surface, corner and edge wear, inside is super clean. Binding is solid. Trims at approximately 6 by 9 inches. Overall condition is Good++ (cover) to VG++. YELLOWSTONE PARK -- ANNUAL RODEO -- RED LODGE -- undated but appears to be 1950s by Red Lodge toruism bureau (not stated but likely the source) -- The fold-out brochure is one sheet with one fold creating four road-map-sized panels -- 2 per side. Front states \"Yellowstone Park Via Short Spectacular Scenic Route\" and \"Annual Rodeo and Festival of Nations\" and \"Pleasure Gate of the Treasure State\". Inside gives history of the Beartooth Highway, stats on the town of Red Lodge, what else to see and o in Red Lodge and related info.The back panel is a list of nearby points of interest with mileage info. The brochure was heavily used and shows some wear on all panels. Still and obscure brochure in Blue and Red that\'s in Good condition.YELLOWSTONE -- a visitor brochure/booklet put out by Burlington Route and Northern Pacific - Yellowstone Park Line. While there is no copyright date on the brochure, the map inside is dated 1928 and that\'s consistent with the vintage of the cars in photos inside. The booklet is 64 pages and has heavier, embossed cover. The cover is an illustration of old faithful and the textured/embossed cover accentuates the look of the painting. The inside is all B&W on a glossy stock with wonderful photos in great detail. There\'s lots of info on the park, the attractions and details on specific tour packages. This is a very handsome brochure. The cover shows mild edge, corner and spine wear but the inside is spotless. Overall condition is VG+ to VG++.All in all a very interesting lot of YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK Visitor Publications (mostly) from the first half of last century that would be a great reference and resource and a welcomed addition to any collection.
