Lot of 4 (2 Pair( Hubley “Colt .45” Cap Pistol No. 281 Original GRIPS (NO GUN)
Hubley Mfg., Lancaster, PA. Circa 1958-65. Made in USA. White plastic grips measures approx. 3-1/2” tall and 2-1/8” wide at the bottom.
These plain white plastic grips are from Hubley Colt .45s which were die-Cast metal revolving cylinder cap pistols that measured approx. 13-1/2” long. These grips will also fit the Hubley “Model 1860 .44” (virtually the same gun as the .45) and the Hubley “Ric-O-Shay .45”.
One set of grips both have small chips and cracks on the bottom back corner but are otherwise complete with no other cracks or breaks. The other set has damage to both sides with most of the bottom panel missing on the right grips and the left grip split down the missle in front of the screw holes. It has been glued but came apart and some residual glue is still on both sides. No screws are included. Restoration will be required.
