Lovely antique wood duck decoy in original condition. He measures 15\" long and 71/2\" to top of head. His eyes are glass. He has a small painted blue mark on each side. I am not an expert on antique decoys, but presumably, it was marked for identification of the owner of the decoy. But this is a guess on my part. I have another one which has the same mark. This was purchased from an estate sale, and the owner said her father had had them for many, many years. Please see all photos.
