This gorgeous piece of Rozenburg den Haag(the Hague) is a three piece inkwell. It measures 8\" in diameter and stands 5 1/4\" tall to the top of the lid. Like most Rozenburg piece, this inkwell is in the art nouveau style and it probably dates to 1890-1900. It has rich coloring in an array of hues from deep cobalt to dark forest green, red, rust, teal blue, gold and white. The sides are decorated with four large flowers. A row on diamond shapes decorates the top rim and more diamonds in other colors are in the deep area of the bowl. The outside of the base is decorated in light gray and brown. The piece has its original black insert. It is marked with the crowned stork mark and also has the approval mark of Rozenburg art director De Ruiter--the window pane mark.

The piece is in fine condition with no chips, cracks or crazing--it is fine. A special addition to your home and collection. Thanks for looking.
