m1832 Ames.... HEAVY ARTILLERY ....Civil War Sword & Scabbard.....dated 1843:

...Likely Mexican War and Civil War used.... Dated 1843 on blade with Ames Mfr. stamp on the opposite side. Average blade, with the very tip flat. Scabbards are very hard to find. And when you do, they are mostly severely creased or in two pieces. This one is in great condition with intact stitching and a small separation on the edge.
