TheM3fighting knife was an American militarycombatknife first issued in March 1943 and continued production to 1944. Its primarydesign was for elite troops such as airborne troops and army rangers. It was also designated to be issued to solders not otherwise equippedwith bayonet.

This particular M3was manufactured by Utica and is a pommel marked US M3-UTICA. The guard has a very slight movement.

This knife would bean excellent addition to a collection and is a great representation of a WWIIcombat knife.
