Madame Alexander Binnie? Doll Jointed Knees Ballerina, Cissy Face Great Hair 17\":
$139.00

Featured here is a gorgeous Madame Alexander ballerina doll with jointed arms and jointed at the knees. She stands 17 inches tall and is dressed in a gorgeous black velvet and tulle tutu with a lovely black tulle had with gold roses. Her costume is decorated with black and gold braided trim and beading and tiny star sequins as well as with scattered white rhinestones on the tutu skirt and on the bodice. The gorgeous hat has a cluster of gold roses in the center, to match her outfit and has a black elastic to hold it on her head at a wonderful angle. She wears black leatherette shoes with black ties. Her gorgeous blonde wig is under a hairnet and in excellent condition, with a bun of wonderful golden blonde curls at the nape of her neck. Her neck is marked \"ALEXANDER\".*She has the \"Cissy face\" wtih lovely blue green eyes, all her lashes, painted brows, red lips, and rosy cheeks. She does have a slight orange complexion that is common on dolls of this vintage. But her coloring is not bad; see photos. She has tiny curls at her temples. She is a wonderful vintage Madame Alexander doll. Her arms show some smudges from prior owner play. She takes and holds wonderful poses. Her stringing is very good.I am not her original owner, but she has been part of my collection for some time; I purchased her nude and dressed her as a ballerina in this exquisite black outfit. Since I bought her, she has been kept in a display case in my doll room and never played with. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE.
Payment is required through PayPal at the close of the listing; no props in the photos are included, just the doll in her outfit.
*NOTE: I am not a doll expert; I do not know if she is a Binnie or a Winnie doll or an early Cissy doll. I know she has the Cissy face and the same vinyl jointed arms of the early vintage Cissy dolls. I am guessing at the year she was made as well.Another doll lady thought that she may be as old as 1955 or 1956, when the Binnie Winnie dolls were made with the Cissy doll face and arms and jointed knees.
