1. Due to limitations of the software in this model GPS receiver, current date information is not correctly displayed. The GPS calendar is cyclical and does not match the Julian calendar. Although the correct Julian calendar date can be entered into the unit, it will revert to an earlier Julian calendar date within the design life of the unit. For example: July 1, 2014 reverts to Nov 16, 1994. This receiver does acquire and track satellites, and appears to provide correct navigation information.
2. This unit is offered for sale with No documentation or airworthiness certificate, of any kind.
3. If you have an inoperative unit of this type, already installed. This unit may get you going for awhile, at minimal cost. However, you are responsible for determining whether the unit provides sufficiently trustworthy navigation information for your purposes.
   
4. This GPS unit is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Repairs and revisions are not available.
   
5. There is NO Datacard included with this unit. The card reader has been tested and is functional. If you have a working card, you will be in business. Datacards are no longer available new. No company provides updates for the cards. The unit has an internal database which covers many airports in N. America and other parts of the world. Updates are no longer available for the internal database.
